In a viral post by netizens, several men were seen arrested at Geylang Bazaar.
MP Zainal Bin Sapari posted this message on Halal Cafe & Restaurant Singapore facebook group page when a user was asked on the updates on this issue.
If you can’t read the above screenshot, here it is:
“It was a joint operations between NEA, police n MOM. During the inspection, they found unlicensed food handlers that were also working illegally which is an arrestable offence.”
Investigation is still ongoing.
