This was an unspeakable moment of gore and terror for the Thai man.
A truly horrifying video has emerged of a Thai man being gored and eating alive by a bear at a Buddhist temple in Phetchabun Province in the north-central part of Thailand. This is an incredibly violent content where the beast can be seen mutilating and biting the half-naked man.
According to local reports, the man is a 36-year-old individual called Naiphum Promratee. Everything started when he and four friends decided to visit the local Buddhist temple and had been dangling food over the wall surrounding the animal’s enclosure. Naturally, this was a serious mistake which outcome was worse than imagined.
Soon after that moment, the bear is then reported to have used it mouth to grab Promratee before pulling him over the wall and into its enclosure. At this moment, the animal knocked him unconscious and everything turned into bloody carnage for the man. The video showed Promratee attempting to shield himself as the bear stands over him, literally eating the man alive and tearing off his flesh with its teeth.
It was a brutal moment to see, considering that Promratee was unconscious and with low chances of surviving such a violent attack from a bear that during several minutes was eating him alive mutilating his flesh with its claws.
While this was happening, his horrified friends on the other side of the wall were desperately attempting to divert the bear’s attention with cold water, sticks and a steel pipe, hitting him as strong as they could so the beast could stop the carnage and see if they could save Promratee. However, the full-grown bear continued to feast away on the helpless man, biting him with intensity while the blood was running through his wounded body.
Far from giving up, Promratee’s friends continued to hit the bear hoping that the beast would attack them. However, things got to whole new level after the bear decided to grab the man’s limp and bloodied body away like a rag doll to its own enclosure.
As anyone could imagine, everything got extremely worse at this point, considering that if the man had any chances to escape from the beast in an open space, he was now in a closed environment with an animal that was not going to let him run away.
The Thai man got seriously injured by the bear, who was eating him alive and mutilating his flesh.
Additional footage showed this extremely violent moment, when the bear was with its prey inside of its enclosure continuing to eat the still alive Promratee. Naturally, this was such a surprising display of strength and vitality, considering that most people would have been dead by that horrible instance.
As the beast continued to eat the Thai man in its enclosure, another person in white shirt suddenly appeared, and started to furiously hit the bear with a piece of timber, in an attempt to stop the carnage and save Promratee’s life.
Although the different videos about this unspeakable incident don’t show what happens during this struggle between the man in the white shirt and bear, the next footage shows the bloodied and limp body Promratee being dragged through the temple by a monk and two other individuals. Then, Promratee is placed in the back of a pickup truck, where he can be seen lying in an almost fetal position, with his clothes torn to shreds.
While this was happening, his horrified friends on the other side of the wall were desperately attempting to divert the bear´s attention with cold water, sticks and a steel pipe, hitting him as strong as they could so the beast could stop the carnage and see if they could save Promratee.
It was a brutal moment to see, considering that Promratee was unconscious and with low chances of surviving such a violent attack from a bear that during several minutes was eating him alive mutilating his flesh with its claws. A few seconds after this scene, the truck rushed away to the nearest hospital in order to save the man’s life.
According to the Daily Mail, Promratee is now recovering and able to talk. A 60-year-old member of the Khon Khao Koo Pai rescue service called Bpae Permpoonsap, as they received a report of a bear attack at 11:10 am Thailand time. He explained that the animal was among other creatures being raised at the temple.

Additionally, Bpae told that the bear attacked him in such furious way that Promratee is seriously injured, which represents almost a miracle the fact that he still alive. The monks at the temple keep around two dozen wild boars in a tiny enclosure and the bear in a cage which they care for and allow guest feed. Bpae told that the boars were outside in a nearby field while the bear roamed around its enclosure as it was fed.
The temple had appealed for several donations from members of the public in order to feed the animal. A day before the attack, Wat Luang Phor Lamai temple head abbot said that some of the creatures were extremely hunger since they were not being given enough food.
