Singapore Police today (Aug 3) published a propaganda video on drone usage during National Day. Published through state media CNA, the video was largely lambasted as fear mongering and excessive use of power. The 45-second video shows a man playing with a drone and two police officers came up to him. The officers tackled the man to the ground and handcuffed him.
The propaganda video has been slammed by the public for its poor enactment quality and delivering a fear-mongering message. Other commentators on the state media Facebook page made fun of the ludicrosity of the video, and some remarked that the government is insulting the people’s intelligence.
