A netizen shared this unhappy incident in the MRT, where his deaf friend was shoved out of the way of an angry man in the MRT.
The incident happened at 6.40PM yesterday while the pair were travelling from Marina Bay to Jurong East.
The aggressor, who was described as tall, dark skinned, balding, wearing a white long sleeved office attire and appeared to have a serious case of body odor, pushed his deaf friend when he was trying to exit the train. He quickly ran away before the deaf person's friend could respond or even catch a better glimpse of the man.
The netizen shares that people should treat everyone around them with respect, regardless of whether the person has a disability or not. In this case, the man had clearly been rude and aggressive, he said.
